rofessional Wrestling is my escape. Its my sanctuary - my peace of mind.
A day doesn’t go by where the greatest form of art and athleticism doesn’t cross my mind. It’s been amazing a lot of the time but also hard to watch at times. Similar to life itself it can’t and won’t always be perfect or go your way. That doesn’t bother me though.
Its the memories that pro wrestling has left me with that have made it a part of me. I grew up with wrestling. I grew up watching my heroes go to war and these stories play out on my screen. I was fascinated by the over the top, larger than life characters and the everlasting battle between good and evil.
If anything wrestling has stayed loyal to me through everything I’ve dealt with in life. It was wrestling that kept me sane. It got me through a lot of rough times and still does. It is the only thing that is a constant in my life. It’s an extraordinary entertainment form. It is more magical than any other sport, televised program or feature film.
Think about it, it’s the only sport or entertainment form that when you hear a sound of a gong, a frikin gong...nothing else matters and you escape reality. It doesn’t only make you suspend your disbelief but it opens the passageway to your imagination. It’s the only sport or form of entertainment that when you’re watching it, anything is possible. It allows you to forget all the rules of reality and you’re lost in this world of wrestling. It’s changes and evolves but the magic stays the same.
