Tony Khan was a genius who saw there was room for a second nationally touring wrestling promotion and jumped at the chance to launch it once enough decent wrestlers became free agents. If a couple of indie guys could sell 10,000 tickets without an existing TV audience then a company with a TV show could reasonably be expected to do the same thing.
The console war is work and both companies are working together behind the scenes.
