The truth is AEW had a lot less to work with in 2021 but they did a much better job of using what they had. You know when Tony beat NXT and then inexplicably starting hiring and pushing the NXT guys he beat? That was the beginning of the end. 2022 is when the wheels started falling off the bus thanks to Tony spamming and misusing ex-WWE talent. And he allowed the one guy who could've saved AEW, CM Punk, to get run out of the company. Then 2023 was the year the bus drove off a cliff. 2024 is the year the bus is freefalling towards the rocks below.
