>>7541362Absolutely true. But that's not the same as not caring about matches. A good match comes down to the story being told (during the match), drawing heat, working the crowd, and selling. Managers played a huge role in that back in the day too, and really need to be brought back and made more prominent fixtures. Hogan actually had good matches by those standards. He wasn't just looks and promo. In fact, his promos were energetic and got the job done, but not close to the best for his day (would easily be the best today of course). Hogan knew how to work the crowd during his matches and he had them eating out of the palm of his hand. Crowds were really into those matches. You just can't say that about Bray Wyatt. People will pop for his entrance and some spooky spot, but that's it.
