>>13777023I always thought it was an odd decision to have Benoit go after the world title on Raw after the months-long story of him constantly being screwed by Paul Heyman on SmackDown then winning the RR from #1. You'd think he would *finish the story* on SD rather than somewhat randomly inserting himself into the HHH-HBK feud. Plus Benoit-Lesnar would've been kino. All because Vince must have really had his heart set on Lesnar vs Goldberg which turned out to be a complete shitfest.
But tbf it worked out because the triple threat was kino, as was Eddie vs Kurt, and the celebration at the end of the show
Also it's crazy to think it's been longer now since WM20 than it was from WM1 till then. Btw why does it feel like more time elapsed in wrestling from 1995 to 2004 than it does from 2004 to 2024
