>[STARDOM] World champion Tam Nakano eyes title challenge in two consecutive matches at the Tokyo Dome: "I'm going to take it over!"
>Tam Nakano, the world champion of the women's professional wrestling "Stardom", has revealed her incredible defense road. She defeated Suzuki Suzu (22) at the Aichi tournament on the 5th and successfully won her second title. She is already considering challenging for the title in two consecutive matches at the Tokyo Dome on January 4th and 5th next year.
>The day after the fierce battle, Nakano responded to an interview and said, "During the match, I thought I was going to die many times. But now I'm relieved that I'm alive, and at the same time, I'm in great shape. I want to keep defending this belt and make it shine even more."
>No new challenger emerged after the match, but the champion has an opponent he wants to clear his name. Nakano, who was the world champion at the time, was unable to compete due to an injury to his left knee in October last year. He returned in February this year, but was unable to compete in the singles championship until he was crowned the champion in August.
>He called the past six months "Tam Nakano's dark period," and said with shining eyes, "On this defense road, I want to get back what I lost during that time. I'll get revenge on everyone, not just the people I lost to at 5STAR, but also Aja Kong and Willow Nightingale (of AEW in the US). That's why I want to keep defending the title at Korakuen and other places."
>The next big match currently scheduled is the one at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo on December 29th. The champion is of course determined to successfully defend his title there as well, and he also revealed his outlook for the new year. On January 4th, New Japan Pro Wrestling will hold a Tokyo Dome event, and the following day, the joint event "Wrestle Dynasty" between New Japan, Stardom, AEW, ROH, and CMLL will be held at the same Tokyo Dome.
