Rina made her Stardom debut in October 2018, facing off against her twin sister, Hina. Including Hanan, who debuted a year and a half earlier, the three sisters all debuted as professional wrestlers while still in junior high school. The three sisters were all members of the same company, STARS, but in the April 2019 draft, Hanan remained with STARS, while Hina was picked by Queen's Quest. Rina was not selected until the end, and was instead picked up by Hana Kimura, the leader of the new unit TCS.
>"For the first six months after my debut, all I did was fight desperately, but once I joined TCS, Hana-san taught me everything. Most of the techniques I use now are ones that she taught me. When I first joined, I was always getting told off while practicing, but she really taught me so much. But the draft... I seriously wanted to disappear from that scene. At the very end, it was like, 'It's okay, you're crying.' Even though I was still eligible to be nominated by STARS, they cut me off. That draft was like a trauma, and I've been dragging it around with me ever since."
The members of TCS were Kimura Hana-san, Rina-san, Konami, Jungle Kyona, Ruaka, and Death Yama-san (now Fukigen).
>"Sometimes we practiced together as members, but I think I also practiced a lot of one-on-one with Hana. There was one time when I practiced the Manji Lock 100 times and then she watched me. Hana's practice was repetitive, and she would make me do it until I could do it. Up until then I had never practiced this kind of repetitive memorization, but Hana herself is the type who learns with her body, so it seems like she taught me in this way."
Hana passed away suddenly in May 2020, leaving a huge hole in Rina's heart.
