>>11300689He doesn’t fuck with WWE anymore. They hit him with half a dozen copyright strikes on his YouTube account after this retarded mark ring announcer blew the whistle. He was just at an NXT taping before they did it. Now he only fucks with AEW.
It’s crazy because the samples were on mixtapes. They weren’t for commercial use, they never would have been released to radio or an album that was officially released and sold in conventional ways. People have use uncleared samples in mixtapes since day 1. You do shit like that because it’s a mixtape. This guy screeching and talking about lawyers just shined a light on the situation and left a bad smell. Then a guy who is a Grammy nominated artist that consistently charts on billboard and has a large underground following, a guy who shoot loves wrestling and wrestling culture and goes out of his way to be a brand ambassador for it between his world and theirs, you make the spot hot and now senile old Vince wants to know who the fuck he is and has the lawyers go through his entire mixtape catalog…which again, doesn’t require sample clearance. The most they can do is get it pulled from a YouTube site. Serious L. Westside Gunn is kind of a hack (Conway is better) but the dude loves wrestling, if he wants to sample a few seconds of a match to put it on Hitler on Steroids II then just let it be.
