To be honest, I feel like even W37's card was pretty weak too. W37 was such a shitshow in production value however though, which made it incredibly funny and ridiculous.
The Women's Tag team match was terrible, WWE Championship went first (which was decent), Cesaro vs Seth was kind of okay, AJ/Omos vs New Day was forgettable, Braun vs Shane wasn't as funny nor enjoyable as the buildup, Bad Bunny and Priest was carried by Bad Bunny's surprise and the Miz and Morrison, then the women's match that came last I barely even watched.
Night two was fucking awful. I feel like the only match I remember in a good way was Sheamus and Riddle, because Riddle got kicked pretty hard in the face. Even the main event of the last night wasn't that great.
This year the first night looks absolutely un-redeemable in comparison. Becky vs Bianca I don't care about, they've been doing a dumb angle with it. Mysterios vs Miz and Logan is the Miz carrying the feud by getting heat with tried and true tactics, Drew vs Happy Corbin is a filler match, Usos vs Shinsuke and Boogs doesn't have much build-up and feels like the two of them came out of nowhere in terms of competitors to the titles, and Charlotte vs Ronda doesn't even feel like it's been built up at all either.
Then the second night is a Tag team match for the women's titles no one cares about, a Knoxville vs Sami match that should be at least potentially interesting, Pat vs Austin which is filler, RK-Bro which people like at least vs Street Profits (why) vs Alpha Academy, Edge vs AJ which feels like a weird build up without any kind of actual reason. Then the main even is Brock vs Roman in a match that's happened multiple times at Mania before.
I watch Smackdown and Raw each week, but I do not care for like 7 of these matches, maybe 8.
I don't know how you have more time for build up but manage to have no investment into feuds or title matches. Probably to do with Wrestlemania being 2 nights from now on, which is a terrible idea.
