Roster age is a severe problem for both WWE and AEW. Wrestling, and I don't mean any specific company, but WRESTLING IN GENERAL AS AN INDUSTRY has failed to produce new stars for over a decade. That's why promotions are using older guys as a crutch. Who's going to take over for them when they retire? Where's the next generation of stars? There isn't one. A tiny handful of younger guys like Darby Allin and Logan Paul stand out, but can they carry the business for the next 10 years? No, even if they want to they can't shoulder it all by themselves. When the aging 40 - 50 year old stars hang up their boots the whole industry will be well and truly fucked.
