Mark took this to heart and always worked to control his anger, plus he said he just doesn't like being angry to begin with. And since Mark is such a genuine person, he can't really "fake" being angry.
Then Vince ribbed him and pissed him off to give him a push to do the HoP gimmick that Mark had originally resisted. The rest is history, puppets.
