Watching the New Blood show now, and it is NOT what I expected at all. The obvious, smart thing for these girls to do on the C show no one watches when half the roster is injured is to take it easy and act cute.
I did not expect Hanan and Mei Seira to have a straight up fight to the DEATH. The finish was time limit draw, and I get a suspicion Hanan did NOT want to put over Mei. At one point in the match she had Mei in a super-tight triangle choke and Daichi had to come over and loosen her grip before poor Mei passed out.
Saya Iida and Mai Sakurai had a really intense, fun match. At first it looked like Iida was not going to do the "hog tie me and sit on me like a throne" spot. She unleashed a ridiculous, cartoonish amount of chops on Mai that went on FOREVER, and then let her do her spot.
Ami Sorhei looked like she pulled some strings to get her friend on the show, and she finished her with a blue thunder bomb. LMAO
The rookie match with Momo was intriguing. The rookie's ring gear was definitely Queen's Quest style, and looked like an homage to Momo's old gear. The rookie was tough and very emotive, at one point Momo was smashing her whole face with her knee in the corner and even though you couldn't see her, you could still somehow sense her pained expression underneath.
