Goto: "I didn't know anything about pro wrestling to begin with. I'd never seen it before I joined my previous group (Actress), and I had no interest in it. But when I joined my previous group and started researching, I started seeing all kinds of words like pro wrestling and women's pro wrestling. Before I knew it, Stardom and Julia were popping up in recommendations and trends. We live in different worlds, but when I joined Marigold and said "Nice to meet you," I thought to myself, "She's the real deal!" (laughs)"
--Was it at the launch press conference on April 15th?
Julia: "That's right, that was the first time we met."
--Former Actress members, including Goto, made a direct appeal to join, and it caused a firestorm at the time.
Julia: "When I got to the press conference, I thought, 'Oh, there's a bunch of them here.' Then, during the conference, (the actresses) came in and I thought, 'Oh, so that's what it was.' Of course, I'm sure she had spoken to Ogawa-san."
--And then after that, you were greeted?
Julia: "Everyone greeted me, and I don't remember exactly who was doing who at the time, but I remember that six more people suddenly appeared and I said, 'Ogawa-san, this is a group, isn't it?'"
Goto: "That's what they said, I remember it so well too."
Julia: "I was like, '13 people (in total) is already a group, isn't it, great?'
" --Did Goto-san come without knowing why?
Goto: "No, I knew why as expected (wry smile). I was there of my own free will."
