This isn't even Paul hate, he's never had organic solo success - certainly not sustainable, and certainly not to the degree to justify the amount of time and resources the company was putting into him. He's always needed to be part of groups to cover for his weaknesses or have managers - who often tended to get over more than him. As for Jericho, that run he had in 09, against Michaels (and becoming one of Michaels's greatest rivals) kicked him to that next level. Paul is a good hand, with a great look, but that's it.
