I ended up watching some old NWA mid south matches and discovered one of my favorite death match shitters from the early days of FMW working in America as The Ninja Warrior. I couldn't believe it at first because he kind of looked like a young Muta and not the fat drunk shitter I remembered, but then I recognized the move set, looked into it, and had a hearty chuckle realizing that it was actually Mr. Pogo.
Plus those magazine pages with the wrestlers being asked some questions and answering in kayfabe were great.
