Secondly, he got pushes in territories that didn't require the babyface to be a technical wizard. Mid-South was a territory build around big guys that had the Junkyard Dog as its figurehead for years, and Jim Crockett Promotions was build around heels that were great workers and babyfaces that were great personalities.
T.A was never going to be Jack Brisco or Lou Thesz in the ring, but he learned how to bounce off of heels like Wrestling II and Tully Blanchard, later on. His potential was tied more strongly to how he could've been build up and presented
