How would you go about writing AJ's last feud and match? Personally I think he should do a match with The Rock. Hear me out, AJ has been involved with nearly every legend in the business not just in WWE. Even fucking Undertaker which no one thought would happen. If Shawn Michaels were still in shape to perform a great match obviously he'd be the pick but he's not, and Triple H is also retired. The Rock is still physically fit to put on a good match especially with AJ if he got some time off beforehand. The Phenomenal One vs The Great One just has a nice ring to it.
