Tony stopped featuring talent that had been there and increasingly brought in random shitters from ROH, Mexico and Japan. I'd rather see guys like Butcher n' Blade or even Scorpio Sky over INSERTLUCHADORHERE. When AEW started, part of WWE's problem was how bloated their roster was. Now everyone in WWE feels like they belong there and gets used regularly while AEW has guys who they have no room for. To make matters worse Tony gives consistent TV time to over the hill shitters like the Hardys and Jeff Jarrett or dimeless losers like Pockets and Garcia. Meanwhile someone like Wardlow who had actual potential was left off of TV for no reason whatsoever. WWE got better once HHH took over and they're as hot as they've been since they went PG. A worsening AEW feels even shittier next to a WWE that looks better than it has in ages.
