The title match format, which is unprecedented in the history of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, has attracted attention, with each wrestler bringing their own rules and the rules to be adopted being decided by fan voting, and more than 50 rules have been used to date.From the establishment of the title until 2022, a trophy was awarded to the title holder, but in 2023, a new belt was made at the suggestion of Shingo Takagi, the 2022 annual holder.
