The current plan is to release the game, ready or not, by July, and they'll "patch the rest" later, lol. Kenny apparently wants to distance himself from the game after realizing that it was a complete mess (explains why he stopped talking about it since around All Out).
Also, a Gamepass day 1 release for AEW:FF was genuinely in the cards, but Microsoft backed out at the last second. One who have to think it has something to do with WWE 2K23, maybe they got some sort of marketing deal.
