I found it.
It’s here.
This great timeline shift of modern wrestling.
If Brock landed this here perfectly and WON, it would be a replayed spectacle for all eternity but most importantly.
>He would never have been injured
He would have kept doing this crazy shit in big matches for the next year, knowing he could pull it off. He’s an autist. Trust me, he would do it until the end of time for the pop.
Getting injured reminded himself that he was human, he realized it’s not worth it to put in so much effort and risk an entire career as a shoot athlete. He already got what he wanted. The thrill to perform harder for a crowd was traumatized out of him. He began to stop caring. He tried against Angle and Benoit, people he respected in this year but was mostly done. Him leaving the very next year when he was supposed to be the face of the company for the next 10 years forced the early rise of Orton, which in turn led to the rise of Batista. Also Cena had more spotlight that he probably wouldn’t have gotten if Lesnar was the running plan.
The entire industry changed right here.
