The moment Julia Hart got a push + the strap and didn't change her name, you already knew AEW wouldn't pursue Giulia. That's one of those Wrestling phenomena, Men are usually referred to by their Last name (Austin, Ospreay, Orton), Women by their first name (Charlotte, Becky, Sasha, Bayley...does Bayley even have a [stage] last name?). Can you imagine asking someone "What's your favorite Adam match?" - Adam who, motherfucker? Cole? Copeland? Page? Bomb?
AEW has their Julia and honestly, good for them. She's probably a better dollar value and with the right push/positioning, she could move a lot of merch and put a lot of asses in seats. I hope after she recovers from injury, she continues to develop and get screentime without being directly involved in the title picture. And I hope Giulia does well in WWE, of course.
