I will always be mad about this. I know Bret is an idiot and his family aren’t exactly saints, but it’s such a fucking shame how quickly and unceremoniously the Hart name essentially faded from relevancy. Bret was always one of my favorite wrestlers, second favorite just under Undertaker. He was so real, so raw. Like you actually believed him even though his “gimmick” was kinda plain especially for the 90’s. No one ever made me root for them more than Bret. I literally cried watching the main event in Wrestlemania ‘94 against Yokozuna. What a fucking shame, dude. I know shit like this happens all the time in wrestling, talents with great potential getting shut down and forgotten for one reason or another. But the Hart Foundation and particularly Bret Hart being put through this just feels so wrong
