Unfortunately the answer is quite simple but Tony won’t do it because he’s tony. It comes down to psychology and how he produces a weekly tv wrestling show.

The over use of cursing and blood makes everything feel less special. Every segment there is 15 different angles going on at once. If you don’t follow everything the toxic fanbase yells at you.

Creating storylines for people to care about isn’t hard but Tony focuses too much on the in ring match quality . Creating superstars who stand out and draw people in with their character does more than flips and bumps. Any normie will care about a story but you need good characters .

Imagine if Kommander had a personality outside of tight rope walking. Then imagine he got put into a program with Rey Fenix that ended at a PPV. Just insert a storyline about a love triangle with a hot girl or something I don’t know. Showcase their personality and let them get over . It’s better than a match you’ll forget by next week.

AEW focuses way too much on impressing Dave,Bryan and the rest of the IWC. They cannot compete with WWE because it’s a different beast all together . WWE focuses on moments while Tony cares about what Bix thinks. The best thing their doing is MJF/Adam not Kenny/Don
