>>11503093Great question. I think I have an easier time with that than most. Maybe it's how I look at wrestling to begin with, or something else, but I find myself getting invested quite a bit. I was out of my seat for the G1 finals, before that it was Tsuji's debut, and before that Jay vs. Hikuleo. Even though I knew the results of those matches with 80%+ certainty, that part of my brain entirely disconnects once shit gets going. Obviously for these Road To shows and undercard matches I'm way more inclined to sit back and go "lol SHO based new champ" but with the bigger matches, almost more often than not, I get invested. Being a mark isn't a bad thing.
