After that honeymoon period you have to then define yourself as your own thing to succeed. AEW has not gotten past "Fed bad" and the identity it has cultivated is "snooty smarks who can't take criticism". It's not there to grow an audience, it's there to cater to a niche crowd of wrestling fans when wrestling Fandom is already niche. It isn't growing because there is no will to grow.
