>restaurant A has classic diner food like burgers and fries, just standard classic ingredients and soda pop. Not the best food in the world but consistently solid and enjoyable for the family.
>restaurant B is the place full of sweaty dudes in beards with 100s of obscure beers on tap. A loud place where people just say over and over “man this is sooo good! So much better than A!” The menu is full of random shit with bunch of different ingredients, half of the stuff isn’t available to order because they ran out of ingredients, no regular food to order everything has to be some special literal flavor of the month. The guy who spins the iPad around expects a tip and berates you about reviewing the restaurant on yelp. The food is good for a once in a while visit but the experience was off putting at best. The super duper special food just seems gimmicky. They go back to restaurant A the next time.
