how about another story? this really happened.
today I encountered my oneitis at the gym. I won't post her photo here because it could certainly be easily identifiable.
she was looking at me while I was doing neck curls and maxing out on shoulder press. these are some of my educated guesses at what her thoughts might have been:
>wow, that's a lot of weight.
>it's very impressive that he can do that. I'm pretty sure he benches close to 4 plates, too.
>I guess he just has a rally good work ethic.
>I wish I could be with him. I wish he would approach me.
>I guess he doesn't approach because he doesn't want to be seen as creepy.
>I would approach him and ask him for his number, but it's unfortunately the case that the toxic culture of ts KKK PWI school stops me from doing so.
>I'm enamored with him, but if I made a move all my friends and teammates would ostracize me.
>I'm going to wait until after we graduate to try to get closer to him.
>in the meantime, I'm going to keep doing heavy squats rdls and lunges in front of him at the gym to demonstrate to him that I have a very hard work ethic, too.
do you think ts is a reasonable assessment of the situation? might there be any pivotal details that could completely invert our understanding of the scenario? I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on ts.
