He plays an excellent underdog against guys like JONAH, an excellent wall to get torn down by guys like Takagi and Ospreay, and someone that is just on a whole other level against guys like Kaito and Master Wato. While Omega and Ospreay put out all the stops to provide an insane match with insane spot after insane spot, Okada (and Jay White) came after and literally got the same reaction doing very basic stuff aside from a senton to the outside just to spice things up, so your "No presence" point is dismantled with that alone.
You look at the best wrestlers that went through New Japan since 2012, and the majority of them will have an Okada match somewhere in their top 5 best matches. Hell, it's even true of Kaito.
Shibata's best match was with Okada.
Omega's best match was with Okada.
I get it. You want new blood. You want a new ace. You're tired of seeing Okada win. I can relate. But denying Okada's greatness out of that is just cope.
