>>14920080AEW is a cold product and it's been that way since the Punk drama started. Having to pivot from carefully laid plans due to stars throwing tantrums, getting injured, making life difficult, and other reasons made AEW from 21-23 a haphazard show that would gain momentum and then lose it suddenly due to an unfortunate injury or Punk having another outburst. They've been in recovery since Punk was fired but the WWE meanwhile managed to kill Vince McMahon and have one of the hottest WrestleMania seasons in at least 15 years.
at the end of the day AEW needs a hot angle that gets people talking to regain their ground. But ask any promoter or booker and they'll tell you that having a cold product is almost impossible to get hot again until it isn't. Really, AEW just needs to keep their nose to the grindstone and keep hammering out high quality shows and excellent PPVs.
