>>7727724I'm not crazy about his commentary either, when he's just calling sequences he's okay but his timbre when he's yelling and going "ONE, TWOOOO, NOOOOOOOOO!" is pretty grating to me. I don't inherently hate a commentator wearing a mask, for Liger it makes complete sense, but there's something cheap looking and goofy about Excalibur's presentation. Honestly I think that's one of the biggest issues with modern wrestling, the lack of visual gravitas. Everyone knows that looks are an important aspect of the business, but the whole presentation of wrestling today looks so uninspired. Stuff like Kenny coming out with the girls dancing with brooms or Hangman associating with the reddit order just look so cheap and aesthetically offputting that its no wonder the show doesn't grow, cause nobody's going to see that and be intrigued by it. Honestly instead of "personal issues draw money" Tony should have a sign in his office that says "shit should look based".
