More importantly, Heyman is still a character involved in the main event to this day. People don't care about Heyman's involvement in the Bloodline because they remember him from ECW of whatever, they care because this guy's last client killed the streak and dominated the company for a decade. Heyman has been a huge attribute to WWE, even if he mostly just sulks in the background most of the time.
It shouldn't have been some new guy. It shouldn't have been some sappy mandrama bs ending like his brother Kane or something. It shouldn't have been some other old guy like Sting. The decision to go with Brock permeated into their main event and is still nestled there to this day.
