I think they're still funny, but I feel like all the material they've had to work with from the TNA arc onward isn't quite the same as it used to be. I don't think it's a matter of them faltering either, I just think stuff they covered (Lex Express, Ultimate Warrior in WCW, Black Reign in TNA) had maybe a few nuggets of gold in there but not really quite the hilarious trainwrecks they were expecting.
