Immediately after doing the job at 39 last year and being humiliated by a rubber chicken he STILL looked like he was on cloud nine for the rest of the year, 100% happy. As SOON as the Rumble win and Rock stuff happened you can see from his eyes in all footage that he knows/realized something that's killing him inside. I think he's 100% losing again, but it might be worth it to see the seethe when they end up giving him the MITB.
