WWE fans get so worked up about Cagematch despite the fact that WWE wrestlers are really fucking highly regarded on that site.
I said it before and I'll say it again: WWE fans have the thinnest fucking skin out of all wrestling fans. It's all that many of them known so if anyone breathes a hint of criticism they take it as a personal insult and have to pile on to stamp out the heresy. Meanwhile, they defend it with the stupidest talking points imaginable -- "it's the most popular" and "it's what most people know" has absolutely no bearing on "is it actually consistently the most entertaining from a traditional (read: non sports-entertainment) perspective."
Anyone criticizes the precious e and you guys just have to pile on and bully them into submission. You can't let the slight stand. No other wrestling fans are like this. And afterwards you play the victims and accuse others of being overly invested in things.
