>>13028099Russo was only in full charge at WCW for the first 3 months during which they managed to stop the ratings bleed. After he went home because they wanted him to work in a committee, Sullivan took over and the ratings dropped back down. Then they begged him to come back 3 months later to work with Bischoff which was a wreck, the big suits wanted immediate ratings but Russo knew it would tike time to build it back up but he tried to do the best he could hence all the crash TV stuff with the belts etc. due to the demand for instant ratings. TNA, well pic related speaks for itself. Also he had nothing to do with Spike getting kicked off the channel, Spike execs didnt give a shit if Russo was there or not, why would they, he was just a writer. Even Mike Johnson who reported the story about Russo being a consultant said that the reason Spike kicked TNA off the channel was because Dixie asked for too much money for a new deal.
The consultant thing is true, he was doing it along with Stevie Richards and Bin Hamin. You think Richards would lie too? What would he gain from that? They were consulting for USA Network, not for WWE. For example the money in the bank on the roof of the building was their pitch. But they could only do so much, even if USA Network suggested something it was up to WWE at the end of the day to do it.
