I'd also give the impression that all the fights were legit even if some of the gimmicks are exaggerated. Of course it would all be worked, but I want to keep kayfabe and try to get the crowds to question which parts are real and which are fake.
I would lean more into the grappling/amateur wrestling, mixed with big power moves, for the matches though, such as we often got from the Steiner Brothers. MMA can end up with too much wasted time on the ground fighting for position, which can be boring even for someone that trains BJJ
