Mick Foley has 1.9 million followers on X, but those fans may have to get their fill of Foley in another way. The WWE Hall of Famer recently had enough of the platform, so he’s leaving.
Pro wrestling fans can be very outspoken, and sometimes the notifications they send people on their timeline isn’t very positive. That being said, existing on the social media site by itself can be a challenge with all the negativity going around the world today.
Mick Foley logged onto X, and he let fans know that he is taking off from the platform. This isn’t the first time that Mrs. Foley’s Baby Boy has left the Elon Musk-owned social media site. Now, he has apparently dropped his last post.
>Hello, this is Mick.
>To quote Popeye the Sailor: “That’s all I can stands, ‘cause I can’t stands no more!”
>I am grateful for all of you who followed me and for the opportunities this platform afforded me…but this is my last post on here.
As of this writing, Mick Foley’s X account is still up, so he didn’t deactivate anything. Only time will tell if he returns to the platform, but he seemed pretty certain about his decision.
We will have to see who decides to leave X next. It’s not an easy platform to navigate, especially if your notifications are full of the kind of messages that you spend all day trying to avoid in real life.
