>>11624183A blend of things. AEW's goodwill has all but dried up and Phil did a huge amount of damage to the brand and people's perception of it. OG fans were furious that their favourites were essentially replaced by people who had lost the Wednesday Night War. Cody leaving (though few, if any, miss Brandi). TK's hot/cold booking, new toy syndrome, and hero worship of Phil also didn't help. The chickens have come home to roost and that is entirely due to Tony Khan. However, it's not close to over and all things considered, Tony Khan is in a stronger position than many other companies. But he needs to take charge and put people who he can trust, people who will tell him "no," in places where they can help the brand heal. On the plus side, Collision's ratings are steady (proving that Phil wasn't a draw) and Dynamite is holding steady as well. There are measures Tony can take (and I could even list a few of them out if anyone is curious), but right now, AEW is a damaged brand. Thanks, Phil.
