Even to this day both smarks and marks and the hardcore CMLL workers/owners hate AAA because they consider AAA carny stuff with little value on the "sport" side.
OFC there is some market that enjoys every type of product like jap/usa/yuro/aaa/cmll wrestling due to the internet but Lucha is still somewhat a sacred "sport" in mexico
