>>14712696Because this isn't 2010 anymore. Speaking only for myself, I missed out on things like PWG and ROH because I'd stopped watching wrestling after WM17 and Austin retarded Heel Turn (which I'm still salty about). I popped my head back in when Jericho was having matches with Kenny Omega, and when All In happened, I thought I would give it a shot and was pleasantly surprised - bonus points for Bret Hart. So I started following AEW and enjoyed it when it first started. Sure, there were some things I didn't care for, but the sheer variety of it meant I would find something I'd like. Jericho was a name I knew and one of my favourites prior to my leaving, so he was very welcome. I grew to love the like of the Lucha Bros, Lil Nigga, Hikaru Shida, Pac, MJF, Jurassic Express, Peter Avalon, and Private Party - to name just a few. Even the guys who were rough around the edges, it was neat to watch them develop and grow - which was another attraction for the show. So, when a bunch of NXT Rejects (who the OG AEW roster defeated) flood AEW and take time away from the wrestlers I've grown attached to, I'm going to be more than a little miffed. Compound this with TK's obsession with presenting the WWE guys as the TRUE STARS and the message becomes clear. Fuck the OGs; unless you're from WWE, you don't matter.
