This is probably barely coherent but I remember seeing those memes about Jeff Hardy being bigger than Obama in 2008 going around and it's weird thinking back on that time, the late 2000s, because it was the middle ground I think the 2020s are trying to be again: politics are still gay, but nobody under 25ish cares about them. I was in high-school back then and it was just not cool at all to be some politicized asshole all the time, that was strictly a 2010s phenomenon that people are tired of. Since you've got some advertising backgrounds, you can see some of the oldschool 18-30 year old male dominated pop culture in the past two years of media.
