>The business today is a soulless husk of it's former self. You look at the matches on display today and the crowd reactions are flatter than a plate of piss. You can compare it to the classic matches of the past like when Pinhead Joey Malone took on the the Ironfist Jimmy Palumbo at the Hick dome in Kentucky. It was a large crowd of about 10,000 people and by god none of them were on their butts. Joey and Jimmy were such great workers that by the time the first punch was thrown babies were being thrown in the air. And the finish was amazing after Malone sent Palumbo in into the ropes he somehow managed to reverse it by delivering a killer heart punch with his iron fist and pinned him 123. And you'll never believe this but Malone was had such a good brain for the business that he sold the move for over half an hour you could hear audible gasps in the area and some people even called the police. Of course there's no actual record of this happening since Uncle Dave has erased all wrestling history to make the elite look good
