AEW's booking is absolute trash now. I have some thoughts and decided to write them down. Also if this post gets 92, Nash will debut on AEW soon.
>MJF
Absolutely nothing about MJF's "storyline" has made any goddamn sense. First his "pipebomb promo" on Tony Khan that led to him being taken off TV for months and was considered by many a huge babyface promo where MJF said what many original AEWtists consider the absolute truth. Then he finally comes back, clearly to feud with Punk in a "who can shoot the hardest" shit feud that perhaps could have gone places, perhaps setting up that AEW Civil War thing some people were fantasy booking. But then Punk-Elite shit happens, so Moxley, the ever reliable constant workhorse who has already had to step up and carry the company several times, has to step up again but it's clear that it was a last minute scramble on Tony's part. "Shit, what do I do now? Put the belt back on Mox."
And the storyline still doesn't make sense. Nobody in their right fucking mind thought MJF would ever turn babyface when he came out in a spooky mask and started calling himself the devil. And nobody in their right fucking mind thought Regal wouldn't turn on Moxley when he started interacting with MJF and also accompanying Mox to the ring and smile silently in the background while Mox cut promos about MJF. (As a side note, Mox had to cut a promo attempting to explain the storyline of the feud and because the storyline is so shit and just thrown together, he couldn't really do it, bless his heart.)
