'cause let's be real he will never defeat wwe especially with hhh as their booker (props to him all the scandal these year were swept under the rug by booking the most pops he could produce eventually making people even wrestlers forget how dark wwe is) as it caters to mainstream america who loves nostalgic pop and the highest form of in ring story telling is limbwork. he needs to realize that aew's peak is in those times where they serve niche products and use that to thrive.
he needs experienced bookers or even just a good assistant booker that will tell him if something is good or bad or writer that span across years someone like gedo or even meltzer since aew is so obsessed with the star ratings.
