He clearly wanted to go to WWE (where I think HHH would have loved him) but was fucked by the hiring freeze, so ended up in AEW where the only thing Tony knew about him was that he used to be in Bullet Club. I'd like to see him return to NJPW at some point even if it just a few dates, but it probably won't happen
