Cassie takes a sip from a glass of wine and smiles. "Like I said, I only have time for business, not pleasure."
"Touché. So, business it is. Tell me, what exactly is it you're after?" Wayne asks.
"It's quite simple really. Sheila Foster interfered in something that was important to me. I want everything you have on her. Sure, I could have my people do some digging, but that would take a while. And then I remembered Wayne Parker in WWA talent relations, who insisted on giving me his number and said if I ever needed anything, all I had to do was ask."
Wayne raises a brow. "Yes, I could help you. But, given the rumours about you, rumours we both know to be true, there's no telling just what might happen to Miss Foster should I give you what you want."
Cassie laughs. "You really don't need to be concerned. I don't plan on being the reason any of your employer's wrestlers go missing. A referee here or there, sure. But WWA superstars are just too high profile, I don't need that kind of scrutiny. Bad for business. All I want is to have a little chat with Miss Foster, about her choice to befriend my opponent at Bishoujo at the Beach, Sola Fire."
"I understand," says Wayne. He glances across as the waitress approaches with the order, then fixes his gaze back in Cassie's direction. "But the night is young. And before you get what you want from me, you'll need to give me everything I've been wanting from you, for what feels like an eternity." He smiles. "Everything."
