I think it's more simple than that. The Bucks don't want FTR v Briscoes because they know it will put both of those teams over as fuck due to the demand and that both are retarded as the best tag teams in professional wrestling right now
The Bucks are control freaks, not setting up the rematch with FTR is petty and a lot of people caught on to the fact they've been ducking the rematch, and since they're in charge of booking the tag team matches, people started wondering why it is you see the Best Friends or HFO or some other shit that isn't really over but is given significant TV time despite not being worth it while FTR is backstage
Them being in the Pinnacle should have been so much better than what it was, but the Bucks fucked it up because they're petty "AF"
What Tony really needs to do is make Regal the head booker for AEW, and get Delirious back to book ROH so that none of this type of bullshit will happen again
