>[Stardom] Maika, who won all of her league matches, feels uncomfortable with Tam Nakano's victory after losing all her matches, saying, "I'll put an end to this bad streak"
>The 5STAR GP, the midsummer festival of women's professional wrestling "Stardom", held its deciding match on August 31st in Chofu, Tokyo, and ended with former world champion Maika winning all matches for the first time in history. At the Edion Arena Osaka 1st Stadium event on the 14th, it was decided that she would challenge Nakano Tam, who was crowned world champion on the same day. However, it seems that Maika has some thoughts about the new champion who took the top throne after losing all of her league matches. The day after her victory, she called a reporter and revealed her feelings while celebrating with a beer.
>--A long-awaited first victory
>Maika: I received a lot of congratulations from a lot of different people. I received a video message from my family, and Himeka also sent me a LINE message, so I really felt loved. Just before this year's 5STAR, I lost both the red belt (World title) and the Artist title, but that lifted a weight off my shoulders, and I was able to cut my hair and move on smoothly. It was a summer that I was able to run through thanks to the support of all my fans.
>--You achieved the amazing feat of winning all your games.
>Maika: A fan said that the only people who have won all of their league matches (in New Japan Pro Wrestling's G1 Climax) are Riki Choshu and Hiroyoshi Tenzan. Isn't that amazing? I'm happy that I've been able to leave my name in Stardom's history. When I came to Stardom, I was treated like an outsider and was asked, "Who are you?" and it was frustrating.
