FTR has agreed to re-up but the Elite are pressuring Tony to exile them to ROH, forever banishing them from TV and into a containment zone where no one will ever see them. FTR needless to say, have threatened to void the deal if Tony does that, since their contract explicitly states that he has to primarily book them for AEW programming and that any ROH appearances are on top of them being guaranteed matches/heavy screen time on 39/52 weekly episodes of Dynamite per year. The Elite don't care and are basically trying to exploit the idea of baiting FTR into voiding their deal to get rid of them at this point.
The Elite are also demanding Blackpool Combat Club be turned heel so the Elite can have a huge triumphant storyline where they reunite with Adam Page to "stop them". But Discovery wants Moxley and Bryan as faces (since more people care about them instead of the Elite), so Tony's having to make Mox and company tweeners and explicitly not condemn them as the villains of the storyline.
Punk and Tony are talking again, but nothing has been finalized yet. Punk is pushing for Tony not to fall for the Elite's bait in trying to manipulate FTR into quitting and again, is offering to work with Preston Vance and to "make Preston a star" after Preston got backstabbed by both Page and Moxley.
Adam Cole doesn't want to work with Daniel Garcia, but has been told he has to do so by Tony because "plans have changed". The Elite won't work with Cole anymore, now that their grand humiliation scheme to force Undisputed Era job to them fell apart due to the injuries Cole and O'Reilly suffered and Fish being let go. Tony's promised Cole that if he can "elevate" Garcia, he'll give him a big victory over Jericho but Cole's smart enough to know that no one comes away well after working with Jericho and has instead made it clear he'd rather work with MJF and even put MJF over, if it means avoiding Jericho's vampiric embrace.
